2026 Tax Law Update
Your Gift Is Tax-Deductible — Even Without Itemizing
This is a major point to refresh. The temporary universal charitable deduction (which allowed non-itemizers to deduct up to $300/$600) was part of the pandemic-era CARES Act and expired at the end of 2021. Furthermore, current federal tax laws do not feature a standard $1,000/$2,000 above-the-line charitable deduction for non-itemizers.
Seesaw Ministries qualifies. 501(c)(3) public charity. EIN: 42-2258772. Cash contributions only. Stacks on top of your standard deduction.
Example: A married couple giving $33/month ($396/year) receives the full $396 as a tax deduction with zero need to itemize. At the $111/month tier ($1,332/year), a couple can deduct the full $1,332 — well within the $2,000 joint limit. Consult your tax advisor for your specific situation.
