Keep a Free Resource Working for Our Community
I spend my days building the MidSouth Resource Directory — recruiting the help our region offers and connecting the people who need it. 111 supporters keep that work 100% free, and keep me bringing unity to our community.
View Partnership Tiers →The Distance of Conviction
The distance between knowing about a problem in our city and actually doing something about it is about 33 centimeters — the space between the head and the heart. Your partnership funds that transformation across the MidSouth — which is why this mission begins at $33.
The Mission
The MidSouth Resource Directory
Based in Bartlett, Tennessee since 1999, I deploy 26+ years of relationship-building full-time to grow one thing: the MidSouth Resource Directory — the place our region turns to when it needs help and when it has help to give.
The daily work includes:
- ✓Recruiting new resources — healthcare, child-protection, civic, and non-profit partners — into the directory, one relationship at a time
- ✓Getting the word out so families, employers, and neighbors in crisis actually find and use it
- ✓Vetting and onboarding each partner so the directory stays trustworthy and current
- ✓Matching families to Medical Care Gateways — 24/7 virtual medical and mental-health access
- ✓Connecting Child Protection Networks that guard missing, exploited, and trafficked children
- ✓Doing all of it at 100% zero cost to every non-profit and community group — zero bills, ever
This is bridge-work, done one conversation at a time. This is the 33-centimeter journey — moving resources from awareness to action.
Where Your Support Goes
Building the Directory Takes Time
A resource directory isn't built once and left alone — it's grown, phone call by phone call, coffee by coffee, follow-up by follow-up. Both sides of it take constant, patient effort, and that effort is exactly what your partnership funds.
Supply Side
Bringing Resources In
Finding, vetting, and onboarding the providers our region already has — healthcare gateways, child-protection networks, non-profits, and civic partners. Every new listing is earned through relationships, not a form. This is the slow, unglamorous work that makes the directory worth using.
Demand Side
Connecting People to Help
Getting the directory in front of the families, employers, and neighbors who need it — through outreach, awareness, and personal matching. A directory nobody knows about helps no one, so this outreach never stops.
It doesn't happen from a desk in an afternoon — it takes hundreds of touchpoints a month to keep both sides growing. Your monthly gift buys the time to do it.
The Invitation
Why Become a Virtual Missionary?
For 26+ years I built relationships and account strategy in the marketplace — finding the right resource to meet the need. Today I put that experience to work full-time, connecting local businesses, non-profits, and neighbors so help reaches the people who need it.
No non-profit receives a bill. No community partner receives an invoice. Ever.
I run on the support-raised model made famous by organizations like Young Life — my baseline expenses are covered by a small group of monthly supporters, the 111 Virtual Missionaries, so my time stays 100% free to the community.
Traditional charities can lose 35–50% of every dollar to overhead before it reaches a need. Because my baseline is self-funded, 100% of the marketplace capital entering our network drops straight onto the front lines.
Your support directly fuels:
- ✓The hours it takes to recruit new resources into the MidSouth Resource Directory
- ✓The outreach that helps families in crisis actually find and use it
- ✓Families reaching affordable 24/7 virtual healthcare and mental-health care
- ✓Secure alert systems protecting missing and exploited children
- ✓A neutral connector who keeps local partners aligned instead of competing
If you want the marketplace and the community working as one across the MidSouth, this is the most direct way to make it happen.

Complement, Not Compete
These frontline organizations do the hard, hands-on work in our region. I champion them, but I do not manage or legally represent them — I simply use the SeeSaw platform to complement, not compete, so the whole community moves forward together.
The Value of Free
Why Keep Me a Free Resource?
Because a free connector is a neutral connector. I don't compete with any organization for donors, credit, or territory — so I can sit at every table and put the whole community first.
Keeping me free also buys the one thing the directory needs most: time. The hours to chase down new resources, vet them, and put them in front of the people in crisis who are searching for exactly that help.
“When the connector is free, the whole community can rise.”
The Seesaw Principle
How Unity Actually Works
A seesaw only works when both sides move together. A community rises the same way — when the marketplace and the front lines lift as one. That balance of give and receive is the whole idea behind SeeSaw: complement, not compete.
The marketplace shares its resources and reach.
A free, neutral connector keeps both sides moving together.
Help reaches the front lines and the whole community lifts.
With Gratitude
